WHAT IS PLAY?
At the risk of being obvious, let’s start at the very beginning and look at what play is and why we are writing a blog about it?
The dictionary definition of play is:
 ........to engage in games or other activities for enjoyment rather than for a serious or practical purpose......
Or:
......to amuse oneself by engaging in imaginative pretence.....
